I FEEL HEAT DURING TREATMENTS IS THAT NORMAL?
CLARO uses light and heat to kill the p. acnes bacteria that causes acne. During a treatment you will feel heat on your skin. If the heat is uncomfortable you should stop the treatment and allow your skin to cool before starting again. Don’t worry if you can’t finish two 6-second applications, one 6-second application may be enough to treat your pimple.

MY SKIN IS RED AFTER A TREATMENT IS THAT NORMAL?
Some people may experience temporary redness (erythema) after a treatment that can last up to 24 hours. It’s a normal reaction and is part of healing process. Late stage pimples tend to be inflamed and red already so you may see redness after treating a last stage pimple. If the redness lasts more than 48 hours you should see your doctor

BATTERY CHARGING ISSUES?
Are you starting to worry that it’s taking a long time to charge your CLARO or CLARO SX for the first time?

You don’t need a full charge to get a Full Power treatment. A full charge may take at least 15 hours for the LED at the bottom of the CLARO to go solid Green. CLARO will work just fine with a partial charge, until you have the time to let it charge fully.

TROUBLE STARTING A TREATMENT?
Make sure you are making good skin contact and the two silver skin sensors (on either side of the treatment window) are nice and flush against the skin. THE ANGLE MATTERS it should be positioned just like the picture.

WHY DOES IT STOP AFTER TWO 6-SECOND APPLICATIONS?
It’s actually supposed to do that. The CLARO and CLARO SX both have a One-Minute Timeout Feature that allows the flash-lamp and treatment window to cool before you can zap the next pimple. The light ring (around the power button) will flash Green during the timeout. Once it’s back to being a solid Green, you’re cleared to go!
